She bought the top off ebay and asked me to finish it up as a gift for her mother for Christmas.

Apple Orchard Quilt with edge to edge quilting by Angela HuffmanDebbie shared with me that her mother has apple trees on her property so the apple pantograph was a perfect choice.

This is a new edge to edge pattern for my clients and it really quilts up nice. Wouldn’t it be a perfect pattern for a teacher’s quilt?

Be sure to really see how the sashing is pieced.  By using wide sashing strips and adding triangles to the ends of the strips, it forms a star that doesn’t have points that need to line up or any other headaches.

It is effective, isn’t it?
