The more I watch the same lesson the more the video pauses. I have found when it pauses if I click on the pause button in the lower left corner it will give me an arrow and I can click on it and restart the video. I hope this helps.

Dorothy, are you using the top video window for high speed internet or the bottom video window for slow internet connections?

I have high speed internet so I am using the top screen.

Dorothy, if the video is pausing then try the bottom window. I have found that what is sold around the country as “high-speed” isn’t always truly “high-speed”. A good way to check it is to go to speedtest.net and see what your download speeds truly are. I found that I was being charged a heck of a lot more than I was getting. I called my internet provider with the results of that test and they flipped a switch somewhere so now I’m finally getting the speed I pay for. :)

i am doing a grandmothers garden quilt from 1939 but on one row it jumped ahead and did not know what to do is there a way to go back and put that row in there. also why did it not start at the beginning of the row. maybe 12 inches from where i started the previous row.

You can always hit restart and move the machine to a different row than it wants to stitch. Just advance the quilt and realign but as soon as the machine starts moving, hit stop and then hit restart. Up on the tablet you’ll see your green crosshairs that show the position of the needle. There will be a red bullseye too. Move the red bulls eye to place you’d like to begin stitching from anywhere- beginning, middle, or end of whatever row pleases you.

As for why it started 12 inches from where you started the previous row. It sounds like you didn’t realign properly. In fact, I’d bet the pattern you are stitching has a 12″ repeat. My guess is that you realigned to a point in the repeat that is the right of the repeat you actually wanted.

Remember that it is good to make LOTS of mistakes. It is the best way to learn. :)
