I am a longarm quilter who is motivated to highlight the joy, laughter and creativity of others. Prior to the birth of my triplets in 1999, I was an Emmy Award winning television producer/writer/director. I have worked in a variety of creative and managerial positions. Plus, I have been working as a professional voice actor since 1993. My voice can be heard in a wide variety of broadcast, multimedia, corporate and web projects for some really awesome clients. My kids love it when Mom’s voice pops up on the TV!
Speaking of kiddos, I am the single mother of 13 year old triplets. I homeschooled my kidlets through the second grade and they are now doing well in the public school system. However, if I could click my heels together and make a wish it would be that I could homeschool throughout the remainder of their school years. My little family loves to travel and play board games together. My kidlets also enjoy spending time sewing while I work in my studio.
They have made some charity love covers and tons of doll/ animal clothes. In fact, they have all won ribbons for their quilting at the Ky State Fair and in national longarm quilting competitions! Operating Quilted Joy and working as a voice over artist allows me to be the Mommy I want to be and I am incredibly thankful to be so very blessed.
Your questions are very important to me. I want to know the story of your quilt and what you plan for its use. I will then be able to block out the appropriate time needed in my calendar. I look forward to hearing from you. Please contact me directly at (502) 718-7148 or email me.
