This is the size of the quilt top before being quilted. There will be a small take-up of this measurement during the quilting process.
Width inches X Length inches= TOTAL SQ INCHES
Batting (if needed)
Please take above measurements and add 6" to both length and width to figure inches of batting you will need. Batting is sold by running inch. If supplying your own batting, please make sure batting is at least 3" larger on all sides of the quilt top. I will return any excess batting to you. Please note: There are some battings that do not work well with the longarm. Please ask me before sending your own batting.
$ .20/ Sq. InchL(+6") or W (+ 6")= Total running Inches needed of batting
$.23/ Sq. InchL(+6") or W (+ 6")= Total running Inches needed of batting
$.35/ Sq. InchL(+6") or W (+ 6")= Total running Inches needed of batting (grade up from Select)
Backing (if needed)
We carry 90" muslin for backings at $6.25/yd. and an 110" wide back indigo vince scroll for $15.31/yard.
Should your top be larger than 84" and you are purchasing the muslin backing, it will require a seam. Seams are priced at $10/seam. You are welcome to provide your own backing. If you would like a certain side to be at the top, indicate it with a safety pin. Please press your fabric. I can do it for you but there is a $20 pressing charge.
Quilting Charges
All the prices in the quilting categories include top marking (if any) and a new industrial needle.
Thread Charges
I do not accept thread supplied by clients. My machine runs with specific threads designed for high speed sewing.
One color of my standard thread included in price. My thread is a cotton/poly mix that mimics cotton but with less thread breakage and less lint. It is a wonderful thread for your quilted treasure. Please note that all Stitch in the Ditch work will be with a poly monofilament thread.

Customer Comments and Special Instructions
Once you submit this work order I will email you with the estimate and, upon your approval, an invoice for the required deposit. A 50% deposit is required before booking. For your convenience, I take PayPal.
DO NOT EMAIL YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO ME- use PayPal, it is secure.
What you can expect once I receive your order, deposit and quilt top:
1) your quilts will be put on the calendar.
2) I will review your work order/ style questionnaire and email you with any questions.
3) When your quilt is finished, I will send you an email with a photo of your finished quilt. At this time the quilt will be weighed and the shipping charges will be added to your final cost. It is up to the customer to decide if they want insurance (highly recommended). We will use the least expensive shipping method.
Marking Disclaimer:
I use a variety of marking methods and try my best to make sure all my markers are washable. I make every attempt to remove the markings before sending back your quilt. There are certain times (very rarely) when faint markings will still be visible. Usually these will come out upon the first laundering of the quilt in cold water. While I make every effort to use removable markers, I cannot guarantee all markings will come out completely. If you are having a quilting style done that requires the use of marking methods we will need for you to sign this disclaimer before beginning your quilt top. If this is a major concern, you might want to consider an alternative style for quilting.
