Linda’s Bright BOM Quilt

Bright Block of the Month Quilt - QuiltedJoy.comLinda finished up this top for a friend who had made the blocks but wasn’t sure how to put the blocks together into rows. Linda added the sashings and borders.  The fabric in the border is one of my favorites. It is bright, bold and cheery!

Linda decided to use a variegated thread that enjoyed all those bright colors in the fabrics. We used Lava Colorburst by Superior Threads and it looks great dancing across her top!

The pattern she chose is Cascade and since the backing is white, the pattern really pops from the back.

  1. I received my copy of Cascade..can't wait to use it. It looks great here on the BOM. Thanks for sharing the names of the patterns you use.

  2. Oh, good! Take a look at all of Keryn Emmerson's patterns they are modern and don't have that "rowy" look like you quilted on a typewriter.
