The longarm renters here at Quilted Joy have been hard at work on lots of different quilts. Let’s take a look at what they’ve been quilting!
Pat is all set for Christmas! Is it just me or do the cornerstones look like ribbon and a bow on a present? This quilt will certainly keep Pat cozy during the holiday season. This quilt has a very traditional feel, so she quilted it using the meandering feathers design board.
And here’s one more quilt from Pat. She made this quilt a few years ago in a club at a quilt shop in La Grange, KY. We provide our renters with about 30 different quilting patterns, but Pat had a particular design in mind. She brought her own pantograph to her rental, called Wrought Iron by Willow Leaf. After sitting in her to-do list for so long, Pat was so happy to finally finish her quilt!
Every time I walked past Nancy’s quilt I felt a need to salute! Nancy donated this beauty to a fundraiser, so she wanted to choose a simple quilting design that would appeal to anyone. She used the Orange Peel design board for some lovely texture.
Quilting is so much more fun with friends! Carol and Karen decided to take their rental certification class together. They brought the perfect quilts for their class. Carol made a quick and easy quilt of squares and quilted it with the Square Spiral pantograph. Karen’s quilt was even easier! She brought in this fun Shopkins panel and quilted it with the bubbles design board. Both quilts are perfect practice quilts!
By the way, we like to keep our certification classes to two students, but if you would like to bring a small group of friends (6 maximum) for a special certification class let us know!
